Watch that you don't drink too much orange juice, as this can break down the enamel on your teeth. Calcium benefits your teeth, and helps them stay strong and prevent cavities.

Drink Your Water

Water will help flush your mouth of any debris and keep your gums healthy. Dry gums can lead to gum disease and problems with your teeth. When you drink enough water, you provide your body with the hydration you need to keep your teeth healthy.

Avoid Sticky, Sugary Foods

To keep your teeth healthy between cleanings, stay away from foods like taffy, gum, and soda. Foods high in sugar are going to break down the surface of your teeth and will lead to cavities.

It's important to brush your teeth several times a day and floss at least once. Taking good care of your teeth also involves paying attention to what you eat in order to keep your mouth healthy. Look for foods that are high in nutrients, and eat crunchy vegetables whenever possible.
